Dear President Pollack,

The Employee Assembly respectfully submits EA R4 “Addition of At-Large Seats for 2019-2020 Term.”  This resolution was sponsored by Kate Supron, Division of University Relations Representative and approved by a vote of 21-0-1.  For context, last year two of the constituencies – Hotel and Alumni Affairs did not have anyone interested in serving on the EA.  The Assembly approved 2 at-large seats because we had staff interested, however, not from those groups.  EA R4  request that the two current at-large seats remain in place for one year only to allow those currently serving to complete a full term.  Following this coming year, the seats will be dissolved.  We anticipate participation this year from both Hotel and Alumni Affairs.  We do not intend to change the Charter of the Employee Assembly.
