Employee Assembly Appreciation Award

Overview

The Employee Assembly Appreciation Award is given to a group of employees who, in the past year, have gone above and beyond in their support of the University. Nominations are accepted from Employee Assembly members only and the winner is selected internally by the Employee Assembly. The winning group is recognized during the annual President's Address to Staff each fall.

Building Care (2020) - COVID-19 essential services
Fire Protection and Environmental Safety (2019) - enforcement of fire codes, review of event registrations, construction guidance and fire safety inspections
Facilities and Campus Services Engineering and Project Management (2018) - summer construction projects
Cornell University Police Department (2015) - support of University mission and protection of campus community members
