Dear Ulysses,

Thank you for submitting EA R2: Fostering Meaningful Employee Engagement.  I will bring the resolution to the Committee on Board Composition and Governance this fall, so that they can consider both parts of it (the request to have an additional employee-elected trustee with every effort made to have one be exempt and one non-exempt, and the request to form a Board committee on the workforce).  We have a shared interest in engaging staff in the priorities of the university, and I appreciate all that you and your colleagues on the EA do to represent the staff.
