Dear Ulysses,

Thank you for sharing Employee Resolution 11: Establishment of a Transportation Task Force. As this is my first response to the assembly, I am pleased to acknowledge this legislation, though this resolution does not require my approval, per §Article 7.2 of the bylaws which gives the Employee Assembly the authority to establish its own ad hoc committees.

I am further pleased to learn that the task force has already begun its work and that Bridgette Brady, Senior Director of Transportation and Mail Services, is serving as a member. I wish you well as you consider the opportunities and challenges of the staff related to parking regulations, the parking tier structure and the availability of public transportation and parking infrastructure, and encourage you to share your findings across the shared governance bodies, as any changes may affect the campus community.
